when things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
when the road you are trudging seems all uphill,
when the funds are low and the debts are high,
and you want to smile, but you have to sigh,

rest if you must, but dont you quit.

life is queer with its twists and turns,
as everyone of us sometimes learns,
and many a fellow turn about
when he might have won had he stuck it out.
dont give up though the pace seems slow-

oftern the struggler has given up
when he might have captured the victor's cup;
and he learned too late when the night came down,
how close he was to the golden crown.

success is failure turned inside out-
the silver tint in the clouds of doubt,
and you can never tell how close you are,
it might be near when it seems afar;
so stick to the fight when you're hardest hit-
it's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

this is something that mrs joey tan shared with the class today. i find it so inspiring. i admit that these few days i have been looking gloomier than usual.. forcing myself to laugh and smile like my usual self. but after today's session with mrs tan, i felt so much better.. i shall not quit halfway. i will persevere on..

going for the OGL interview with jf this coming saturday.. hopes that we can make it.
